Your hosts, Gigi & Andrea welcome you into their one-of-a-kind timber pole house built amidst 3 acres of lush rainforest, set an on elevated hillside with 160 degree breathtaking views of the Coral Sea from Cape Kimberly and the mouth of the Daintree River in the north, Snapper Island and Low isle to the east.
We love having visitors from all around the world as we love travelling ourselves. We are happy to share our home and also respect our guests privacy.
The Lotus Room is very spacious and offers a work desk and sofa as well as air conditioning, ceiling fans, Smart TV, tea & coffee making, bar fridge and an ensuite bathroom. It features high ceilings, a wall of windows overlooking the rainforest and direct acess to the pool deck and back rainforest verandah.
The guest room is equipped with quality 1000 thread count sheets, pool towels, bathrobes, sarongs and organic bathroom amenities.
All guests have access to the large open plan kitchen, living area, verandah's, pool and BBQ.
Staples such as Lavazza Coffee, Herbal & Black tea's, oil, sauces and spices are included.
The house also has a small, air conditioned gym and laundry.
We offer free wi-fi, complimentary Netflix, book & DVD library, some games and lots of local information, tour advise as well as tour bookings
We have a minimum stay of 2 nights (3 over public holidays)Our nightly room rate starts at $210 for 2 people in the Lotus Room
We live onsite within the house as well as our 2 cats and feel very comfortable to share our house with guests giving respectful privacy or share information if required. We are happy to provide our guests with all the local advise and tour information as well as tour bookings so they can experience the best of our unique area and the world heritage listed surrounds. We are professionals who work in the tourism industry and your tour booking through us will also support our small business.
